inspired by a cake I saw online, I thought this would be a perfect surprise cake for my daughter's 9th birthday. I decorated this cake in 90 minutes before our celebration began. I originally was going to cover the cake in fondant but realized I didn't have the ingredients on hand.. Thankfully I had enough buttercream to cover the cake. the cake is yellow with fudge frosting. hot pink sprinkles cover the cake and the Icecream decorations are all fondant. This was the fastest cake that i've made thus far.Thursday, May 5, 2011
